How to calculate conversion.

A conversion is any desired action completed by a visitor on your website. This could be a purchase, form submission, newsletter signup, account registration, or download.

Example 1: Website Sales Conversion

Suppose your website receives:

Calculation

Conversion Rate = (100 ÷ 5,000) × 100

Conversion Rate = 2%

This means 2% of your visitors became customers.


Example 2: Lead Generation Conversion

Suppose your landing page receives:

  • Total Visitors = 2,000
  • Contact Form Submissions = 80

Calculation

Conversion Rate = (80 ÷ 2,000) × 100

This means 4% of visitors became leads.
